At The Creative Hearts CIC, we believe that movement is a powerful tool for wellbeing, healing, and community connection. Whether through yoga, dance, gentle exercise, stretching, mindful movement, or group physical activity, movement can support both physical and emotional health, helping people reduce stress, build confidence, improve mobility, and reconnect with themselves and others.
We recognise that wellbeing is not achieved through creativity alone. Art, movement, and human connection work together to support healthier and happier lives. Participating in movement-based activities can help reduce isolation, improve mental wellbeing, encourage positive lifestyle habits, and create opportunities for people to form meaningful relationships within their community.
Our movement and wellbeing programmes are designed to be inclusive, accessible, and welcoming to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. By creating safe spaces where people can move, connect, and grow together, we aim to strengthen community wellbeing and support individuals on their journey towards better physical, emotional, and social health.

One of our future aspirations is to develop accessible movement and wellbeing programmes that support women during pregnancy and throughout the postnatal journey. Through personal experience, conversations with mothers, and growing awareness of the challenges many women face during this stage of life, we have seen how important movement, connection, and emotional support can be for overall wellbeing.
Our vision is to create free or low-cost opportunities for pregnant and postnatal women to access yoga, gentle movement, stretching, relaxation, and community support in welcoming and inclusive environments. We believe that movement can play a vital role in helping women maintain physical health, build confidence, reduce isolation, and support emotional wellbeing during one of life’s most significant transitions. By bringing women together through shared experiences and accessible activities, we hope to create supportive communities that empower mothers to care for both their physical and emotional wellbeing.
